Kenworth has announced the availability of a factory installed 18-20K front drive axle on the T370. This configuration accommodates specialty markets and intended services that include heavy utility services, construction, municipalities, and fire and rescue. Kenworth has designed front drive axle configurations with the lowest possible cab and frame heights. This will allow for easier access and permit body builder boom installations to remain under most height requirements, Front drive axles are available in 4×4 and 6×6 configurations with axle ratings of 10K, 12K, 13K, 14K, and 16K. The addition of heavier 18K and 20K ratings will expand on the T370s already excellent reputation for being a vocational workhorse. The T370 will utilize Fabco FSD-18a AND FSD-20A front drive axles with an all new Fabco TC-548 transfer case.
