Someone asked if we had sold the Ford truck on the cover of the March 2012 Highline Notes to Cass County Electric (see cover below). The answer is yes, we did. It is a 2001 Ford 750, bucket truck. The Ford F750’s are known in our Ford business as Class 6 and 7 trucks. Both of these Ford models are available in three cab choices from the factory; a regular cab, super cab, and crew cab. With four full doors and seating for up to six people, these Ford trucks have many applications. Such as, service body trucks, crane trucks, cargo box trucks, bucket trucks, snow plows, tow trucks, flat bed trucks, refuse trucks, custom puller trucks, and many more. Ford medium duty trucks have a noted reputation for long life, long hours, and a lot of hard working miles. With proper care and maintenance these trucks can be in service for 10 to 20 years or more. They are all currently powered by Cummins ISB 6 cylinder turbo diesel engines; manual and automatic transmissions are both available. These trucks usually run with a 25,999# GVW, up to 35,000# GVW. Although 33,000# GVW is the highest preferred GVW, because once you get over that weight you must pay FET (Federal Excise Tax) They also carry a vast variety of options. Vinyl seats, cloth seats, leather seats, SYNC, AM-FM, CD’s, cruise control, Steel wheels, aluminum wheels, rear air suspension, hydraulic and air brake options. These new Ford F650 and F750 trucks are truly a strong, universal truck to fit all your personal and business needs! The Ford F-series have been American’s best selling truck for 35 years! We own work, that’s like winning the Super Bowl, 35 years in a row! A true successful leader. “Ford-Drive one”
