In 2013, Kenworth celebrates its 90th anniversary. In 1923, the trucking industry was still in its infancy. Early truck builders were pioneers who would help shape the economic landscape of the 20th century. There, in the thick of the industry’s bubbling innovation and development was Kenworth Truck Company.

Throughout its history, Kenworth has provided innovative and quality durable products to its customers. A company doesn’t last in any business for 90 years if it doesn’t achieve that type of excellence.

Innovation has been the Kenworth buzzword, whether it was making the first-factory installed diesel truck in 1933, building the first truly aerodynamic truck – the T600A – in 1985, or moving into the next millennium with the latest technological leap in the trucking industry the T680. Quality remains a benchmark with all Kenworth’s manufacturing facilities. The philosophy established early in the company’s history of building the right truck for each customer’s application and building it to last, remains true today.

Kenworth takes great pride in our history of achievement and excellence. As we go forward, Kenworth’s core values of quality, innovation, durability and reliability will remain steady.
We look forward to a great 2013!
